Verizon CDMA / 3G network retirement plans

Verizon stopped activating new CDMA/3G devices in 2018. Starting January 1, 2020 like-for-like device replacements and device ID to device ID changes have also been terminated. After January 1, 2021, all network services for any device not migrated off the CDMA/3G network will terminate.
It is highly recommended that you transition all your current solutions using CDMA/3G to 4G LTE as soon as possible for continued uninterrupted operation of your applications.
